Canada, WWII - The East Lancashire Regiment Cap Badge. It is a bi-metal nickel and brass based construction. The obverse features a sphinx above “Egypt” and the rose of Lancashire (brass), which is all surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath, underneath a kings crown and above “East Lancashire” on a flowing banner. The reverse features a soldered-on slider. It measures 1 9/16 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches tall.
